Mission, Vision and Values
- To provide support to vocational and special interest organisations and charitable institutions, including support for everyday activities/ organisation aims, as well as support for strategic planning and assistance to deal with wider industry and environmental changes.
- To provide connections between similar trade/charitable organisations for collective learning and networking.
- To develop and deliver educational programmes to organisations and their employed staff, and where necessary to volunteers, to further their knowledge, training and development.
- To provide a unified voice to government, so to influence government policy around the trade and charitable sector; and help organisations to improve political advocacy.
- To help NGO collective organisations improve their public image, so that voluntary organisations are seen as an essential component of the New Zealand economy; encouraging individual businesses to belong to a collective trade or interest group.
Mission: NZARC's purpose
- NZARC envisions becoming New Zealand’s leading organisation for collective and charitable associations to obtain support, advice and training from. NZARC also envisions being a platform for associations to receive government opinion and comment. Non-profit organisations will think “NZARC” when an issue arises that they are not able to deal with and when extra help is required.

- NZARC operates as a Charitable Trust and prides itself on providing unbiased, complete and up-to-date information and services; always maintaining a professional manner.
